Meeting Location
The meeting will be held on the Main Campus of Ohio
University in Athens. Established in 1804, Ohio University is the oldest
public institution of higher learning in the state of Ohio and the first
in the old Northwest Territory. Ohio University celebrates its bicentennial
in 2004.

The sessions will be held in the new Science Lecture
Hall Facility and in the nearby Grover Center. Both buildings are adjacent
to the new Bicentennial Garden, designed by Athens native Maya Lin
(architect/designer of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, DC).

How to Get Here
Athens is located on the Hocking River, in the rolling
Appalachian foothills of southeastern Ohio, roughly 90
minutes southeast of Columbus and 1 hour west of Marietta.
Follow
these directions to
the Ohio University Visitor's Center. The Lecture Hall building is diagonally
across the street, building 156 on
this map. Grover Center, where the Saturday
morning sessions will be held, is building 89, just to the north. If you
are arriving Friday, your parking permit will allow you to park in any lot
colored purple or dark green on the map. Lot 134 has the most direct access.
After 5:00 PM on Friday, no permit is required.
Lodging
Participants should make their own reservations.
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the following two properties. Please
be aware that the AmeriHost is holding these rooms only until March 16.
