| Research Experimental condensed matter, surface physics. The research in my group is concerned with the geometrical, electronic, and magnetic structure of surfaces and thin films, including metals and semiconductors. We use a combined molecular beam epitaxial growth/scanning tunneling microscopy system. Recent work has focused on transition metal nitride layers and the use of spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscopy. |
